Ilyse Kusnetz

I just learned that the poet Ilyse Kusnetz died, in 2016, from cancer caused, most likely, from nuclear and mining pollutants in our home state of NM. I used to be friends with her. We had a falling-out which was my fault, and I had not talked to her since, perhaps, 1992. Here's her poem, printed in Rattle. This is the first time I have heard her voice since that time. Good night, Ilyse.
